Support
Short answers to common questions about Dashday. If this doesn’t help, contact us below.
Where are my todos stored?
On your device by default (SwiftData). Free daily CSV backup to iCloud or Google Drive is optional and stays in your account. Optional cloud sync (Dashday Plus) also stores todos in our Supabase project, protected by row-level security so only your account can access them.
What is Dashday Plus?
Plus unlocks Instant Sync across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch (with a 14-day App Store trial). Local use stays fully free without a subscription — including backup. Signing in only stores your login; sync requires Plus.
Do I need an account?
No. Dashday works offline-first without signing in. An account is for when you want to sign in for sync — sync itself only starts with active Plus.
How do I delete my sync account?
In the app under Settings → Delete Account. That permanently removes server-side todos and the auth account. When signing out you can keep or clear local todos.
Apple Watch, Siri, widgets & Action Button
The Watch app supports dictation and save even without the iPhone nearby. Siri/Shortcuts (“Dashday”, “for tomorrow…”), Home/Lock Screen widgets, and the Action Button (microphone) are covered in the app and iOS settings. Spotlight indexes open todos locally.
What is the AI morning briefing?
An optional on-device summary of open todos at a time you choose — using Apple Intelligence / Foundation Models, with no server. Notifications and a supported device are required.
Backup to iCloud or Google Drive
Free and optional: daily CSV export to an iCloud folder you choose, or via Google OAuth
(drive.file) into a Dashday folder in your Drive. You manage
those files yourself — your data belongs to you.
Beta testing (TestFlight)
Join the public beta via TestFlight (iPhone & iPad). Purchases in the beta are Sandbox — no real charges.
Repeating tasks
Completing a repeating todo creates the next occurrence. Set frequency and series in the todo details.
Forgot password / email not confirmed
In Settings → Sign in you’ll find “Forgot password?” and, if needed, “Resend confirmation”. The email link opens Dashday (or the website as a fallback).
